Terms and Conditions of Use · Flashiko
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These terms govern the use of the “Flashiko” mobile app for iOS and Android (identifier com.opharana.flashiko) and of the pages of this website where you can join an event, take photos and view them (together, “Flashiko”), owned by OPHARANA LLC, with its registered address at 99 Wall Street, Suite 1432, 10005, New York, United States, and contact email hello@opharana.com. By using Flashiko you accept these terms.
The essentials
- Creating an event is free up to 100 photos, which are kept for 30 days after the reveal.
- Event passes are a one-time payment per event, not a subscription. Apple or Google charge for them.
- The photos are seen only by the event’s guests, and only from the reveal.
- Photograph only people who want to appear in the photos, and minors only with their parents’ permission.
- Save the photos you want to keep: they are deleted when each event’s period ends.
- Minimum age: 14 years.
1. What Flashiko is
Flashiko is a shared camera for events. The organizer creates an event with a reveal time and a number of photos per guest; guests join with a code, a link or a QR code, from the app or from the browser, and take photos that nobody sees until the reveal time. From then on, all the guests can view and download them for as long as the event’s period lasts.
2. Minimum age
Flashiko is aimed at people over 14 years old. By using it you declare that you are at least that age.
3. Your anonymous account
Flashiko doesn’t ask you to sign up: when you open the app or an event page, an anonymous account tied to that installation or that browser is created. If you lose it, we can’t recover it. The organizer of an event must keep the phone they created it from in order to keep managing it. You can delete your data from The camera → “Delete my data” (details in the Privacy Policy).
4. Photos, the people in them and conduct
You are responsible for the photos you take and the names you type. By using Flashiko you agree to:
- Photograph only people who agree to appear in the photos and, if they are minors, with the permission of their parents or guardians.
- Not upload content that is sexual, violent, offensive or unlawful, or that infringes other people’s rights (privacy, image rights, intellectual property).
- Not join events you haven’t been invited to or pretend to be someone else.
- Not use other guests’ photos outside the scope of the event without their permission.
- Not modify the app, reverse engineer it, automate its use, create events or photos in bulk, or try to access other users’ data.
Moderation: the organizer can delete any photo from their event and remove any guest. Any guest can report a photo; photos reported for showing a minor are hidden immediately and we review other reports within 24 hours. We may remove photos, events and accounts that breach these terms and, where appropriate, report them to the authorities.
5. Free and event passes
Without paying, an event admits up to 100 photos across all guests, kept for 30 days after the reveal, with ads for the organizer and at the reveal. The organizer can buy for that event:
- Event pass: up to 1,500 photos across everyone, kept for a year, no ads for anyone.
- Large pass: up to 5,000 photos across everyone, kept for a year, no ads for anyone.
Passes are a one-time payment for a single event, with the price in your currency shown before you buy. They are not a subscription and they don’t renew. The pass is applied to the event when the store confirms the payment, usually within seconds.
- Payment is taken entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We don’t see or store your card details.
- The pass is delivered immediately. By accepting immediate delivery you may lose the right of withdrawal provided for digital content.
- Refunds are handled through Apple or Google. If a pass is refunded, the event keeps its photos.
- If the event is deleted (by the organizer or when they delete their data), the pass is not transferred to another event.
6. Retention of photos
Flashiko is not an archive forever: photos are deleted when each event’s period ends (30 days after the reveal for free events; one year for those with a pass). The app and the web show the date. Download the photos you want to keep before that date.
7. Advertising
In free events, the app shows Google AdMob ads and, with the app in Spanish, TuIAgencia’s own ads: to the organizer, after finishing creating the event, and at the reveal. Never while photos are being taken. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability of the service
Flashiko depends on third-party servers and services and we do not guarantee that it will work without interruptions or errors. With the app, photos taken without signal wait on the phone and are uploaded when the signal returns; from the web, a connection is needed while they upload. If Flashiko were discontinued, we would announce it with reasonable notice and give a period to download the photos.
9. Intellectual property
The photos belong to whoever takes them. By uploading them to an event, you grant us a limited, free, worldwide license to store them, process them (create reduced copies) and show them to that event’s guests during its period, for the sole purpose of providing the service. We don’t use them for anything else.
Flashiko, its code, its design and its texts belong to OPHARANA LLC. The Unbounded and Onest typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The app includes third-party software under its open-source licenses.
10. Limitation of liability
Flashiko is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of photos (including those that never finished uploading or those deleted when the period ended) or for what other users do or upload. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law or consumers’ rights.
11. Relationship with Apple and Google
These terms are between you and OPHARANA LLC, not with Apple or Google, which assume no responsibility for the app or its support. On iOS, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.
12. Changes, governing law and language
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here, with its date. They are governed by Spanish law; if you act as a consumer, you keep the right to go to the courts of your place of residence. In case of discrepancy between languages, the Spanish version prevails.
